Craven and Cora Williams 25-7 to take top spot on 10 points.
The pair bowled well and made very few mistakes.
In the other match they played they beat Richie Hayden and Caro McDonell 22-18 before getting another 22-18 win against other pair.
Tom Craven believes Robison and Craven deserved their win as their performance on the greens was exceptional.
“Robison and my wife Kerry deserved it, they played exceptionally well on the greens and to beat us, they really played well.
“We still have four games to play before the end of the competition to determine the overall standing.
“The section winners will play another match next weekend and the runners-up will also play another match to determine the winners. We can not afford to lose, we have to win all our forthcoming games in order for us to be competition winners,” said Tom.
The section runner-up were Dereck Russell and Petal Steenkamp with eight points.
They beat Ally Dale and Mike Davies 19-9 before defeating Mike and Trish Davies 18-15.
The section third place winners were Jay Patterson and Neol Westray with six points after getting a 19-16 win over Paul Simth and Elise Barnett.
The bowlers are now looking forward to the coming rounds where they will be separated into the new section so that the winners, the runners-up and the third-placed teams, from each of the sections, will play a futher round robin tie against each other.
The teams in fourth and sixth positions will enter into a knock-out and the final of the CABS competition will be held at Highlands Sports Club on February 17.
