Robinson leaves

ZIMBABWE bowler Derek Robinson is expected to leave the country tomorrow for the World Champion of Champions tournament set for November 24 in Christchurch, New Zealand. The Champion of Champions will run from November 24 to 30.

The Zimbabwean bowler will be the lone ranger at this year’s event .

Each country is expected to be represented by two bowlers but Silva Kendall-Ball documentations were not processed in time.

“It will be a very good experience for me. I will have four days of practicing before the tournament and I hope I will be able to adjust to the faster greens,” said Robinson.

Bowls Zimbabwe president Malcolm Evans said it was unfortunate that Robinson was the only representative for the nation.
