A HARARE man has been taken to court by his two neighbours, who accused him of insulting and threatening them.

Violet Tsvimbo and Jane Mutandwa applied for a peace order against Khumbulani Ndlovu.

They claim he plays loud music and when they complain, he insults and threatens them.

“He plays loud music at his house, disturbing our peace and whenever we try talking to him, he doesn’t take it well.

“He threatened to kill us and burn down our house.

“He then accused us of bewitching him over a radio, and dumped the radio at my place,” said Mutandwa.

Ndlovu opposed the application.

“I was seeking help from them, as they had told me that I was bewitched.

“I was asking them if they could accompany me to go and consult a sangoma,” Ndlovu said.

Magistrate Tamara Chibindi granted the application to Tsvimbo and Mutandwa, and ordered Ndlovu not to insult or threaten his neighbours.
