JM: When did you start your music career?
RB: I started music in 2010, then as a club DJ then started recording in 2012 and my first single was “Mari Ndisatani” which wasn’t well received since I did it in foreign land.
JM: What type of music do you sing?
RB: I sing R’n’B but I don’t limit myself because I also sing other genres as long as it pleases my fans. So maybe one day I will so a song or two museve tracks, gospel or even traditional music.
JM: Do you think your type of music is here to stay?
RB: Yes, I am quite confident though music revolves.
JM: What were some of the difficulties that you faced when you started music?
RB: Recording was not easy especially in a foreign land and again it was difficult to get my music played on radio stations it was a mountain to climb.
JM: How did you overcome those problems?
RB: I overcame them through perseverance.
That “never say die spirit” and not giving up easily on the things that you love most.
I also kept the faith and hoping one day there will be a bright day.
JM: Tell us about your music, where do you get the inspiration?
RB: I get inspiration from anything about life in general and love. My subjects are mostly about love, relationships and life.
JM: “It’s Your Love” was one of your biggest tracks tell us what it is all about?
RB: I was about love, missing your other half and reminding them on how important to you.
JM: How many singles have you released so far?? Any success stories?
RB: I have released 10 singles and “It’s Your Love” managed to break into Power FM Top 10 charts.
My latest single “Ben10” (soundtrack) managed to surpass “It’s Your Love” in terms of downloads because it got 612 downloads in less than an hour.
JM: When can fans expect an album from you?
RB: Next year I will be release an album titled “The 1st Mile” but I am not sure of the release date.
JM: Why has it taken long for you to release an album?
RB: The journey wasn’t easy and I wanted to see how people receive my music before I could do a full length album. I also didn’t want to rush the product so I’m taking my time and now that I’m convinced about my music it’s about time I drop an album.
JM: Any videos out?
RB: Yes, we are almost done with the video for the song “It’s Your Love” and the next one is the video for “Kepe Kepe” a song dedicated to my local club CAPS United

JM: What can we expect form you in future?
RB: You can expect music and more music by the way I will be launching my clothing line called “Royal Wear” at the end of the year.
JM: Any shows or tours coming your way?
