“Mamlin Mangoto and Lissy Masarirevhu are new to the team but they are improving and we want to take the Middleburg tournament as an opportunity for them to gain exposure.
“We were trying to perfect our game plan in getting the young players into the system of how to play sevens and they are getting there,” said Mukorera.
The team is expected to play their first match on Friday morning.
Abigail Gondo, the team captain, said they were ready.
“We are ready for the tournament, we have been training three times daily since we started our camp.
“We will follow our game plan.”
