A Bulawayo man has been jailed for seven years for killing a rival whom he fought over a sex worker.
The accused was later arrested at a shrine while being cleansed.
Alfred Ngwenya (24) of Bulawayo appeared before the Bulawayo High Court to face culpable homicide charges.
He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to seven years in prison of which three were suspended on condition of good behaviour.
Alfred committed the offence on November 15 in 2023 at around 3 am after a misunderstanding with the deceased.
