bring order at centres under its jurisdiction.
If the proposed by-laws are approved, vehicles would be clamped in areas such as Magunje Growth Point, Makuti, Tengwe, Kazangarare, Chidamoyo and Zvipani. Under the proposed wheel-clamping and tow away by-laws, owners of light vehicles immobilised will pay US$10, while heavy vehicles owners have to pay US$20. Storage for light and heavy vehicles per day will be US$20 and US$40 respectively.

Owners of unclaimed vehicles will be expected to collect them within 30 days from the date on which council will have notified them through a newspaper advertisement.
