Russian health experts to conduct training on maternal, infant healthcare

A team of physicians, sent by the Russian Ministry of Health, will next week conduct seminars and training sessions on

protecting the health of mothers, newborns, and children under 5 years old, the Russian Embassy has said.

The training will take place from Monday to Friday next week at Rainbow Towers.

In a notice, the Embassy of the Russian Federation said: “The Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Zimbabwe

has the honour to inform that on October 14-18, 2024 at Rainbow Towers a team of physicians sent by the Ministry of Health of

the Russian Federation will conduct seminars and trainings on protecting the health of mothers, newborns and children below

5 years of age.

“The event will be held as part of the international project “Intervention to Reduce Maternal and Infant Mortality in CIS

Countries, Asia, Africa, Middle East and Latin America.”
