Rvtchet Records formed to empower emerging artistes

Bulawayo’s rising stars Vusumuzi Sithole, known as Kool Dude, and Tonderai Sena, aka Jiggy Flow, have launched Rvtchet Records Entertainment, a music label aimed at promoting up-and-coming artistes.

Established in June last year, the label has already released Kool Dude’s EP, Back to the Basics, which features six tracks, including the standout song Bosso, a collaboration with Jiggy Flow and Killah B.

Kool Dude highlighted the label’s mission to support budding talent.
“The main goal of Rvtchet Records is to sign talented artistes, help them release music and visuals, and create opportunities for bookings both locally and internationally. This way, artistes can sustain their livelihoods,” he said.

In a unique blend of music and fashion, the label also equips its artistes with designer clothing from its own clothing line, further enhancing their image and appeal.

Currently, the label has three artistes on its roaster: Kool Dude, Jiggy Flow, and Killah B. Their latest collaborative single, Ivibe, includes a feature from Fab G Umshanakagogo.
“The track Ivibe is all about fun, celebrating the summer and the end of the year. It’s a feel-good song designed to help people relax, enjoy themselves, and forget the stresses of the past year,” said Kool Dude.

With its fresh approach to promoting talent, Rvtchet Records is setting the stage for emerging artistes to thrive in both music and fashion.
