SA artiste falls in love with Zim fashion

Entertainment Reporter
Zimbabwean DJ and designer RayDizz had the privilege to see South African artiste Reason wear one of his shirts in front of 14 000 people at the Johannesburg leg of Kendrick Lamar’s Miller BoomTown South African tour.
Sizwe “Reason” Moeketsi, who was born in Thembisa, was given the apparel by Phil Chard from The African Hip Hop Blog who was in Johannesburg to cover the concert recently.

The “Mufasa” T-Shirt which is from 729 Apparel’s latest clothing line was given to the artiste as a free gift.

To RayDizz’s surprise the artiste loved the shirt so much he decided to wear it on the night in front of 14 000 fans.

The concert was also screened across Africa via Channel O, with images of this momentous event captured and rebroadcast by large media houses such as Vuzu TV and YFM.

This marks a massive accomplishment for the Zimbabwean urban fashion industry and RayDizz has pledged to use this as a stepping stone to continue to further his 729 brand and extend its popularity beyond Zimbabwe’s borders.
