TOP South African dancer and singer Kamo Mphela is heading to Harare for the annual Castle Braai Festival set for Old Hararians Sports Club on October 19.
The ‘Dali’ and ‘Nkulunkulu’ hitmaker will share the stage with some of the country’s biggest stars, including man-of-the-moment Master H, Saintfloew and Winky D.
Mphela, who is back after a brief hiatus in which she was focusing on her mental health, says she is back on track and will be at her best come October 19.
Organisers, Delta Corporation, said revellers should look forward to a fun-filled event, as Amapiano meets the best of the local artists.
“Old Hararians Sports Club will once again host the brand festivities on October 19 from 10 am till late, and consumers can look forward to a day of braaing with friends.
“Lots of games and activities and a stellar line-up from local giants in our music and entertainment industry, combined with a touch of regional flair from across Limpopo,” said Delta Lagers marketing manager, Kundayi Mawema.
She has invited fans from across the country to be part of the outdoor event.
“All Zimbabweans are invited to join us as we celebrate our unique braai culture with Africa’s finest beer, on a day that promises to create unforgettable memories and fun for all.
“We can’t wait to chill and braai with you in a true Zimbabwe fashion, It all comes together with a Castle at Braai Fest 2024. See you there!” said Mawema.
Top emcee Etherton B, Dj L Roy, Dj Irvine, and Dj Toxy Gen have also been roped in to provide cover at the event.
Early bird tickets are going for US$15 while last-minute event goers will pay US$20 at the gate.
