Hillside Dams in Bulawayo is the place to be on Christmas Day as South Africa’s DJ Cyndo, Fiesta Black, Mpumi and Lady Cream are set to perform there.
Dubbed Festive Fever, the party will feature locals Cal_Vin, DJ Stavo who collaborated with Fiesta Black on track Teka Famba, as well as DJs Noma that Girl, Prince and Judgment Yard.
Tickets to the event are already on sale at Haddon & Sly and Hillside Dams with ordinary tickets pegged at $10 and $20 for VIP. Golden Circle tickets cost $50.
Show organiser, Clayton McCulloch said they settled for female South Africa entertainers to empower the girl child.
“During the festive season, a lot of male artistes come to Zimbabwe from South Africa to perform here. We wanted to be different and decided to host an all-female line up and show people that they can still have the same fun with them compared to their male counterparts,” said McCulloch.
He said they would be pitching tents to ensure people do not get wet, in the event that it rains.
“According to weather forecast there’s no chance that it’ll rain on the day of the show. However, we’ll have tents for patrons in the event that it rains as the show will be held outdoors,” said McCulloch.
The event will start in the evening as organisers want people to spend time with their families during the day.
