spokesperson Mr Artwell Java said Lundi did not have a work permit and had to return to South Africa.
“The paperwork was not in order and he had some complications,” he said.
“The show has been postponed and will be held in two weeks time.”
Mr Java said the gospel show was meant to raise funds for charity.
He said the church wanted to remember the less privileged during the Christmas holiday.
“Christmas is a time of giving and we would want to donate to orphans and disabled as people tend to forget them, especially during the festive season,” said Mr Java.
Lundi was expected to perform at Harare Gardens on Saturday alongside other local artistes such as Olinda Marowa, Diva Mafunga and UFI praise team.
Mr Java said the gospel singer, who also had brought his gift for the under privileged, would return and perform in Harare and Gweru.
Those who had bought tickets for the show were advised about the postponement.
