SA names Test squad for Zim

CRICKET South Africa (CSA) have named an unchanged Castle Lager Proteas squad for the one-off Test match against Zimbabwe next month.The Test match is at Harare Sports Club starting from August 9.

“The Proteas have earned a vote of confidence,” selection convener Andrew Hudson is quoted as saying in a news release from CSA yesterday, adding:

“We will be naming the One-Day International  squad for the three-match series against Zimbabwe next week and will give consideration to resting a couple of players.

“We will, however, be sending our full-strength ODI squad for the following triangular series against Zimbabwe and Australia.”
