SADC Summit public lecture: What it is all about

President Mnangagwa will today deliver a presentation at the 7th SADC Summit public lecture in Harare.

The public lecture is being held in Harare at the University of Zimbabwe, Diamond Conference Centre.

The objectives of the public lecture are to demonstrate the significance of research and innovation in education systems in transforming SADC into an industrialised region.

It also seeks to identify strategies to enhance research and innovation capacity in SADC schools, colleges, vocational training centres and universities and their roles in driving industrialisation.

The SADC Summit public lecture also seeks to unpack research and innovation ecosystems that drive industrialisation for sustained economic and social development.
