TWINS Association of Zimbabwe (TAZI) are hosting twins from the SADC region in Kariba this weekend.
TAZI presidents, Farai Lawyer Katonha and Tendai Mayor Katonha, said their association is co-hosting the event with Zambia Twins, in a bid to promote domestic tourism.
“This event is scheduled from Friday to Sunday in Kariba. SADC countries twins are set to gather in Kariba and we have a number of activities which include, tourism quiz, most identical twins competition, dam wall viewing, fishing, game viewing, boat cruise and many more.
“Apart from the games, we traditionally address challenges faced by twins in every area we visit and this time Kariba is our focus.
“Our thrust is to promote domestic and international tourism,” said the TAZI hosts.
Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique, Lesotho, South Africa, Botswana and Namibia have confirmed their participation so far.
