Gender based violence victims in Mutare are set to benefit from a safe shelter set up by Government in partnership with Msasa Project.
Development officer in the Ministry of Women Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Development, Mr Munyaradzi Rubaya said GBV victims would be vulnerable if they continue staying with perpetrators during the course of their cases being dealt with.
He said the City of Mutare has allocated a 2000 square metre stand to build a permanent safe shelter.
