ARTHUR Tawanda Chimhanda from Sakubva’s Mazhambe section is the proud winner of a Honda Fit after winning the Bakers Inn BUY and WIN Promotion grand prize last Friday.
The ecstatic Chimhanda said he was speechless at landing the top prize.
He said his mother motivated him to enter the promotion.
“My mother motivated me to enter the promotion because she is the one who told me to buy Bakers Inn bread every day,” he said.
The promotion ended last week on April 2.
“I don’t have a driver’s licence, but I am now challenged to obtain it. I was so happy when I received a call from Star FM telling me to come and collect the car. I immediately told my mother who was equally excited,” he said.
Other lucky winners at this promotion were Onius Muungani from Penhalonga and Genesis Murehwa from Mutare who won generators respectively.
Two Plasma television sets were won by Joseph Machipisa (Mutare) and Fungai Changoma (Mutare), while two laptops went to Tongogara Madzivire (Chimanimani) and Morgan Nyamusosa.
Bakers Inn general manager, Mr David Muchinguri, hailed customers’ response and support.
“Manicaland is the province with the highest customers and we are so grateful for their support and participation in this promotion. The promotion went on well up to the last day. We would like to congratulate the winners and wish them all the best,” he said.
