Irreconcilable differences have seen the artiste leaving his producer of seven years 2Nyce of Nyce Beatz Records. He has since been signed by director of Muncrest Enterprises, Seth Moyo.
In an interview, the artiste said the yet to be released album would prove that he was the master of his game and dispel rumours that he was “finished”.
“I took time working on NguSamazaza Lo album and the album is a dedication to each and every person who doubted me,” he said.
The artiste said it was important to work with a producer who understood that music was his life.
“I had many differences with my former producer 2Nyce of Nyce Beatz which is why I opted to seek another producer whom I believe understands what I am all about,” he said.
The album has tracks that include Nginika iThemba a song expressing the artiste’s trials and challenges which he said can be overcome through the Lord’s grace.
The artiste said Nginika iThemba also aims at revealing the bad times artistes also go through.
“I composed this particular track with the intention of highlighting the bad experiences that I usually face as an artiste. Many people assume that our lives are rosy but we also go through harsh times too but with hope, better days lie ahead,” he said.
Ngekabani Le? is a track that expresses the artiste’s appreciation of the love and support his fans have shown over the years.
Jaiva is a dance song that invites people to celebrate their existence.
The artiste also said working with Moyo on the project had helped him discover his other talents that include directing and producing.
“I believe Moyo has my interests at heart and he is one producer I believe is professional in what he does.
“We are finalising the upcoming album and I know the audience will get an opportunity to discover the other side of me as far as entertainment is concerned.”
The artiste also bemoaned local promoters who dish out money on foreign artistes yet local ones were wallowing in abject poverty.
“I am disappointed by the way promoters target foreign artistes while local ones struggle to make ends meet.
“If one is to become popular he needs to be promoted. Local artistes are not recognised because we always play second fiddle to foreign ones.
“This reduces our stature in public and as long as you are seen sharing the same kombi back home with the public nobody will take you seriously,” he said.
Director of Muncrest Enterprises, Moyo said he believed that Samazaza’s talent was from within and he was set to go a long way.
“I believe that his talent is engraved in his bones and it flows in his veins which is why releasing smash hits won’t be that hard.
“Samazaza is a hard worker whom I know will go a long way if he maintains focus,” said Moyo.
The artiste also said he was set to engage female dancers to back him in his performances.
“I believe in empowering the girl child and I will be scouting for female dancers to back him up,” he said.
