Bulawayo Christian league log leaders Sangano Legends will be hoping to extend their lead when they face second placed Word of Life on Saturday at Nketa 8 ground.
The teams are tied on 17 points and Sangano sit on the apex of the log courtesy of a superior goal difference of one.
In the reverse fixture the two clubs played a goalless draw making their Saturday tie a must win for both of them.
Sangano Legends leader Timothy Mandizadza said as the leaguea��s seven-time champions they would seek to maintain their dominance.
a�?We are looking forward to a good game against Word of Life because they have also been in great form this season.
We will be expecting to get all the three points this time of the season since we only managed to leave their base with one point in the first half of the season,a�? said Mandizadza.
Word of Life coach Bhekani Ncube vowed that they were going to get the better of the leaguea��s defending champions.
a�?There is a lot at stake in this game. Ita��s a big race for the championship. Ita��s high time we claim the trophy because we have been playing in the league for two seasons. We are one of the seasoned campaigners but we are yet to take the trophy,a�? he said.
In other fixtures, bruised Flying Stars will lock horns with BICC at Esikwakweni. Flying Stars are smarting from a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Eagle Life Assembly who on Saturday will do battle against Victory Fellowship at Eveline High School.
UFIC will seek to use home advantage when they entertain HOPG at Insukamini Primary School.
