Sanogo speaks out

LONDON. — Yaya Sanogo says he is still adapting to life at Arsenal but insists that he will deliver on his potential.
The 21-year-old found himself thrust into first team action for the Gunners following the injury to Olivier Giroud.
And the former Auxerre starlet has admitted that it has been a steep learning curve since arriving from Ligue 2.
Sanogo insists that he is improving all the time and, despite the arrival of Danny Welbeck from Manchester United, it is only a matter of time before he starts banging in the goals for his new club.

He told L’Equipe: “Football is football, but it’s a bit like going from sixth to third all at once.
“It takes time to adapt. When you come out of Ligue 2 and you end up in a duel with (Manchester City’s Vincent Kompany), it is not an easy task. “In every aspect of my game I’ve evolved. When you train with great players every day, you progress. — The Daily Express
