Say no to drugs

Shamiso Masimba

LIFE is like a series of minor explosions;

At the back of our minds, we are haunted.

Some give up easily,

Others soldier on in their shining armour.

Optimism is their shield

And faith their sword.

These two keep them trudging on

In the sands of this cruel world.

It is hard to face reality,

Especially when life keeps giving you lemons.

The weak turn to drugs,

But the mighty are barely shaken by this evil wind.

Say no to drugs!

It is a big battle but worth winning.

Drugs destroy you!

They tear down families and break fortresses of wisdom.

Do not try marijuana, tik or glue.

They rip you apart.

Brothers and sisters,

Drug abuse kills.

Fight it in your mind.

We are warriors and victory will be ours.

Say no to drugs!
