The State alleges that on October 29 at around 3pm, Tapfumanei called the girl and gave her US$1 to buy the snacks. The juvenile proceeded to the tuck shop where she bought the goodies. Afterwards, Tapfumanei allegedly ordered the girl to follow him to the water tanks within the school premises and she complied. He then allegedly pushed her into a bushy area grabbed the minor and raped her. After raping her, Tapfumanei started to pretend he was looking for something he had lost.
The girl proceeded to her classmates’ house where she narrated her ordeal, the court heard.
Her mother was called in and a police report was made leading to the guard’s arrest.
