Project Kuchengetedza Zviwanikwa, a Chipinge-based Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) has embarked on a project to supply reusable sanitary wear to schoolgirls in Manicaland as part of efforts to alleviate challenges faced by girls during menstruation.

Project director Mr Vrante Jambaya said the organisation was seeking to reach more areas when more resources are available.
He said they were focusing on three districts in the Save Valley.

“So far, we have managed to assist girls in Chimanimani, Chipinge and Bikita districts but we are looking forward to go beyond our borders to help students in other provinces,” he said. Mr Jambaya said the organisation had engaged its partner in the United States of America to come on board with funds to continue supplying sanitary wear.
