NEW Premier Soccer League champions Scottland have been crowned in a glitzy ceremony at Ascot Stadium in Gweru this afternoon.

The Mabvuku team have made history by becoming the first team in 41 years to win the league title in their maiden season.

And they were fittingly honored with a new trophy by the PSL with First Lady Dr Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa presiding over the ceremony.

They actually capped a fine season with a 2-1 win over TelOne at a rain-drenched Ascot.

Club captain Walter Musona saluted Scottland fans and management for driving the team to glory.
