In an interview with H-Metro, Muchenje said the goal was to make Zimbabwe’s animation global.
“The dream is to make Zimbabwe animation global as we are working very hard to show the world that we can produce our own Shona films.
“I started doing this with the help of my friend who is the director and also the animator, he approached me and asked if I could make a script for him and we did our first project which was a success
“The competition is stiff but we are taking it one day at a time. We post on a daily basis and we hope things will get better with time.”
The group has two mascot characters, Oshomole and Chikombera.
Their animation channel mainly focuses on short comedy skits, Shona, and animation series that talk about life in general.
“Our content mainly teaches on how bad behaviour for many children affects their lives as manyskits show Oshomole and Chikombera behind bars. In the entertainment industry, we believe it’s a very important aspect since we are one of the few
content creators who post on a daily basis.”
