Seek solace in the Lamb of Glory

Morris Mtisi
THANK you all who have acknowledged that they read and found comfort and spiritual healing in the verses I quoted from the Bible last week.

Please continue to find rest on the yoke of The Lord. His Son who is an equal part of the threesomeness of the Holy Trinity said so, “Come to me all those who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. . . ” (Matthew 11: 18) Jesus is today what he was yesterday and will be like that tomorrow and forever after-Amen!

God wants to give us hope and encouragement through the following assuring verses. Jesus spoke. He still speaks today. And Jesus does not lie.

1. Away from home and feeling lonely? Draw your strength from your roots. Remember your principles and stay loyal to them. Trust in God’s reasoning, not your own.

Never let loyalty and kindness get away from you! Wear them like a necklace; write them deep within your heart. Then you will find favour with both God and people, and you will gain a good reputation. (Proverbs 3: 3, 4 NLT)

2. Don’t fret about what people think of you. What God thinks is what counts. He has promised you an inheritance.

Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret- it leads only to evil. For evil men will be cut off, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land. (Psalm 37: 8,9)
