made the remarks on Saturday following a donation of equipment to Kadenge Rural Health Centre by Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa’s United Family International Church.
The church also donated various foodstuffs and clothes worth thousands of dollars to Tanyaradzwa Children’s Home, with at least 20 widows and the elderly from the area also receiving food hampers.
Kadenge clinic received two delivery beds, eight mattresses, six chairs and a drug cabinet.
“In many churches, people work for the church by giving, but the leaders do not want to help others,” said Mr Tandayi.
Murehwa district nursing officer Mrs Taizah Sithole said the equipment donated by the church would make the nurses’ job easier.
