SELMOR Mtukudzi was given a car by a rental company in Harare as a gift.

Impala Car Hire donated a Mazda Demio “new shape”, a fuel saver to the daughter of Zimbabwe’s first music national hero Oliver.

She expressed her gratitude by posting on her Facebook page how happy she was for the special gift.

“I was told not to say anything but I failed to keep quiet. I have to share the goodness of God. Can you imagine this car which is here I was just given for free; people please help me to thank the company. I have never seen something like this in my life, words fail me. It’s not because I am clever but it is the grace of the Lord. Thank you so much to Mdara wangu, who has taken the father figure role in my life now. May the good Lord bless you abundantly and may He enlarge your territories. Mr Dondo, May God bless you,” she posted.

In an interview with B-Metro Selmor said she had respect for her benefactor.

‘‘He is just a father figure just like any elderly person in the community, I respect him. This doesn’t mean he is filling the gap of my late father,” she said.

As far as she’s concerned it’s just a gift.

“They just gave me the gift, I don’t know their intentions on them making me their ambassador, to me it was just a beautiful gift therefore I’m very grateful for it,” she said.
