Servcor made it to the Sadc quality awards after winning the National Quality Awards Large Enterprise Company of the Year hosted by the national certification body, Standards Association of Zimbabwe, last year.
Mr Gomba said the award showed that Servcor was a company with proficient quality services.
“We are also happy with this achievement as it implies that we outclassed other Sadc counties in this category,” he told the Business Herald.
The company attained ISO 9001-2008 certification in August last year. SAZ quality assurance director Mr Sebastian Zuze recently urged local companies to get ISO 9001-2008 certification.
“We are happy that the number of certified companies is increasing compared to a few years ago.
“However, more can be done because Zimbabwe has more than 120 companies operating,” he said.
Another Zimbabwean company, Chicken Slice, also won an award at the same Sadc quality awards.
