SEVEN suspects were arrested in Nyamapanda where police recovered 82 goats and eight sheep.
National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the arrests in a statement issued on Wednesday.
“On 21 September 2026 at approximately 0000 hours, police in Nyamapanda arrested seven suspects for stock theft,” he said.
“The arrest led to the recovery of 82 goats and eight sheep, which were being transported in a Hino truck, registration number ADF 7973, driven by Farai Mabhandi of Chinake Village, Kotwa.”
Issues of cattle rustling have been on the increase with the police and members of the public remaining vigilant.
