SEVERAL people were injured on Monday afternoon when a commutter omnibus lost control and overturned on the 35 kilometre peg along the Bulawayo-Victoria Falls Road.

The injured were all ferried to Mpilo Central Hospital.
When a Zimpapers news crew arrived at the accident scene, police officers were clearing debris from the road to allow for a smooth flow of traffic.

“Seven ambulances, one from Nyamandlovu and six from Bulawayo ferried the injured to hospital. It appears a ball joint broke and the driver struggled to control the vehicle, which was also towing a trailer,” said one of the police officers.
