IF you’re are “older” man and madly in love with a teenage girl popularly known as Ama2k (a colloquial name for a generation of youths who were born in or after the year 2000) avoid getting her hot and bothered through sending her sexually explicit texts and images on her mobile phone.
That’s the lesson to learn from a 34-year-old Bulawayo man — Limukani Moyo from Makokoba suburb — who was arrested on Christmas Day for committing lewd acts with a Form Three girl after her father stumbled on multiple sexually explicit messages on her WhatsApp messenger.
According to details gathered by B-Metro sometime in November 2020 and on an unknown date at around 4PM, Moyo approached the 17-year-old Sobukhazi High School girl, who happens to be a neighbour, and he requested her to buy him airtime from her mother and bring it to his house and she complied.
When the unsuspecting girl, who cannot be named, got into Moyo’s house, the latter reportedly closed and locked the door and started fondling and caressing her breasts and buttocks.
While caressing her, Moyo reportedly proceeded to lower her jeans and underwear as the girl was standing.
Moyo is alleged to have also lowered his three-quarter shorts and underwear before he placed his manhood between the standing girl’s thighs.
It is reported that when Moyo heard the girl’s mother talking outside the house, he quickly ordered the girl to go outside and ordered her to pretend as if nothing had happened.
After some days and seeing that the girl had not reported the matter to anyone, Moyo later proposed love to the girl and she accepted the love proposal. The two then started communicating while exchanging love messages and lewd pictures via WhatsApp.
Moyo’s luck however, ran out on Christmas Day when the girl’s father stumbled on the saucy messages in her daughter’s phone.
Suspecting that Moyo could have deflowered his daughter, the girl’s father went and reported the matter to the police.
When the girl was interrogated by the police, she revealed all that had happened on the day Moyo called her into his house leading to his (Moyo) arrest.
For the offence he appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Shepherd Mjanja facing a charge of indecent assault. He was however, not asked to plead and was remanded out of custody to 12 January 2021 on $3 000 bail.
