Sha Sha nominated for SAMA

QUEEN of Amapiano, Sha Sha, is vying for the 2023 South Africa Music Awards (SAMA) to be held on November 18 at the Durban International Convention Centre.

She is vying for the “Rest of Africa” category with her album ‘I’m Alive.’

The musician will be battling it out with other musicians from across the continent such as Ckay (Nigeria), Davido (Nigeria), Lyre (Nigeria), Ferre Gola (DRC) and Moreira Chonguica (Mozambique).

Meanwhile, the late South African rapper, Kiernan Forbes, also known as A.K.A, is leading the nominations with seven nods.

The show will see artists from South Africa battling out in categories such as Best Collaboration, Best Reggae Album, Best Produced Music Video, just to mention a few.

The SAMAs remain one of Africa’s most prestigious awards ceremonies where the continent’s finest artists are honoured.
