Shah fastest at Drags

ZANE Shah was the fastest with his Toyota MR-2 turbo charged car at the Victoria Falls Road Circuit on Saturday.
Shah was the main man as he clocked the fastest time of 13.95 seconds over a distance of 402 metres.
He also won the elimination challenge after beating Darren Pragji who was driving a Nissan Skyline in the final.
Shah was at it again as he won the 2000cc turbo charged class in 13,95 seconds followed by Aiden White and Dean Norman in 14.16 and 15.38seconds respectively.

He came second twice in the Class B 1601 to 2000cc and in the Bakkie category.
Phil Van Vuuren won the Class B category while Gareth Rousseau won the Bakkie category.

In the bike category Dave Marsberg who was riding a Suzuki Gsx
1,000 was the fastest in 10,63 seconds.

Veteran Fuzzy Walker and Ian Gurtheless came second and third in 11.25 and 11.26 seconds respectively.
BMC vice chairman Shah praised the attendance for the first event.

“The crowd was excellent because we didn’t expect such a big crowd,” he said.
