THE Queen of Amapiano, ShaSha, clearly felt the love she received at the Coca-Cola Unplugged Food Festival in Harare on Saturday.
She was the headline act at the grand finale of the Food Fest.
The South Africa-based star made sure her return to the Unplugged stage was a remarkable one with a befitting performance.
ShaSha lit up the stage with some of her hits including ‘Woza’, ‘Tender Love’ and ‘Ungowami,’ among others.
“Thank you guys for the wonderful support and for coming to watch me perform. It’s always nice to feel the love from your people,” said ShaSha.
Fans also had a day to remember as they were treated to a feast of food from local cuisines.
Hip hop star Saintfloew highlighted his status as one of the emerging top live performers in the country.
The Silas Mavende hit-singer was on fire as he performed songs off his latest album – ‘Trap Yevafundisi.’
“Trap Yevafundisi is my best album so far ndakariita nemoyo wese, it resonates well with my life and I hope it also speaks to you too,” he said.
Nutty O also made his presence felt.
The ‘Hatiperi Power’ singer also took the chance to introduce Freeman’s trending song, ‘Chahwiriri’, which he featured on.
Saturday’s event attracted a decent crowd as fans braved the scorching heat.
Coca-Cola East and Central Africa Operations vice president Alfred Olajide hailed local revelers for their support.
“It was an entertaining event and we applaud every fan who came through to support.
“We are proud to provide the platform to celebrate Zimbabwean music and culture while promoting the spirit of unity amongst its people,” said Olajide.
