A MARRIED woman seeking a protection order against her husband’s lover found favour with the courts yesterday.

Loice Pambei approached the Harare Civil Court accusing Joice Gusani of dating her estranged husband, only identified as Alexander, and for threatening to beat her up.

Magistrate Sharon Mashavire granted Loice the protection order.

Joice claimed that she was customarily married to Alexander, but Loice disputed her claims.

“She comes to my workplace in Dzivaresekwa to harass me.

“She also has a tendency of sending people to my house who threaten to deal with me.

“I dispute that she is customarily married to my husband,” Loice said.

In her response, Joice argued that she does not know where Loice resides.

“I have never been to her place of residence. She is the one who texts insulting me. She insulted me and I did the same. We fought only once,” said Joice.
