A HARARE woman has approached the Civil Court seeking a protection order against her husband’s girlfriend.

Jane Chibvara accused her husband’s girlfriend, Nomater Fanny, of abusing her and shaming her in the streets.

“She takes my husband and toilet keys and tells people that I’m barren.

“I want her to stop coming to my place of residence and abusing me and my family.

“Every time she sees me passing by, she spits at me,” Chibvara said.

She added:

“These two have been at the police station on several occasions and always argue over who is loved by their in-laws.

“We are always at the police station because of her.”

In response, Fanny denied the allegations.

“I  started dating her husband last year but, when they had an argument earlier this year, the husband moved in with me.

“They have two separate residential stands.

“But, she just doesn’t want to accept that she is old and has been replaced by a younger                                             version.”

Magistrate Rutendo Machingura dismissed the application.
