Volts JT to release debut album

Upcoming rapper, Nkosilathi “Volts JT” Sibiya, is set to release his first album on September 30, at Alex Sports Club.

Titled Life of Muvhimi, the album carries 12 tracks featuring Takura, Tammy Moto, Dobba Don, Suhn and Emtee.

Besides the upcoming album, he boasts of singles like Shamwari Yangu, These Days and Friends.

The 23-year-old said his expectation is to flood the market with his music.

“The album is mainly about the struggles people face when trying to make a living. Also when we try to chase our dreams, the struggles we face in our social relationships too.

“(My mission is) to flood the market with my music, to give hip hop listeners more content.

“To play my part in pushing Zim hip hop, as a genre, forward.”

Volts JT also talked about how he wants to elevate himself through his music.

“My biggest expectation is that this album helps to elevate me as an artist so that I can say I’m now bigger than I  was last month,” Volts JT.
