A WOMAN has told a court that her husband’s other wife is threatening to drown her two young children in a swimming pool.
Providence Musita and Memory Maushe are married by the same husband.
Providence claims Memory came to her home and threatened to drown her children who are aged one and four years.
“She wanted to put my children in the pool after coming to my house without my permission.
“She also threatened to kill me and she told me that I was lucky to give birth this time.
“I want a peace order against her because she assaults me.
“She threatens to kill me and also send our husband to jail.”
Memory denied the allegations. Yes, l went to her home but never threatened to throw her children in the pool.
“I went to her place because I wanted to talk to my husband about our children.
“She is not allowing me to talk to my husband.
“I am against the court granting her a peace order because she spends a lot of time with my husband and he has no time for me.”
Magistrate Meenal Naratom granted Providence’s request and ordered the two to maintain peace at all times.
