THE third annual SheMillionaire Africa Women Wealth Builders Awards, hosted by Dr Mandy Sigauke was a triumphant celebration of women’s empowerment.
The event, held on November 9 in Polokwane, Limpopo, South Africa, brought together over 300 inspiring women from across the continent.

The highlight of the evening was a keynote address by renowned politician Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma.
Additional insightful talks from international speakers such as Dr Martha Tilahun (Namibia), Dr Susan Tatah (Germany) and Mrs Beck K (Zimbabwe) further ignited conversations on women’s empowerment, financial literacy and entrepreneurship.
Despite facing criticism in the previous year, the organisers persevered and delivered an unforgettable event.

The atmosphere was electric, filled with joy, camaraderie, and a shared sense of purpose.
The awards ceremony recognised and honoured 90 remarkable women from 13 different nations who have made significant contributions to their communities and industries.
Dr Sigauke said hosting the award ceremony was an incredible experience.

“It was a privilege to celebrate the achievements of so many talented individuals. The audience engagement was incredible and the energy in the room was palpable.”
One particularly poignant moment was a heartfelt speech by brand influencer and media personality Tariro Gezi, which moved the audience to tears.
Her journey from rejection to redirection served as a powerful reminder of the resilience and determination of African women.

The SheMillionaire Africa Women Wealth Builders Awards continues to be a platform that empowers women, inspires future generations and celebrates the collective power of African women.
