The Best of Both Worlds festival on December 16 at Heartfelt Arena’s open fields in Pretoria celebrated Afrohouse and Amapiano with stars like Kabza De Small and Kelvin Momo warming up the stage.
Shimza and Black Coffee delivered an electrifying back-to-back set that was filled with chemistry. Attendees have raved about the high production, seamless genre blend, and homegrown talent.
Taking to Instagram, Shimza posted a highlight of their fire performance. Fans have taken to the comments section and X to reminisce over the epic set.
Shimza and Black Coffee often play internationally, burning the hottest dance floors. In May, Shimza set the stage ablaze at the grand opening of Black Coffee’s Hï Ibiza residency.
Seeing the two live together is certainly a treat for their local fans, and they enjoyed the surprise.

Last year, the two Afro house heroes Shimza and Black Coffee joined forces in a historic − and rare − back-to-back at Kunye, in Johannesburg.
Shimza and Black Coffee continued to fly the Mzansi flag high on the global stage in 2025, delivering standout performances across some of the world’s most influential music capitals.
Shimza cemented his growing international footprint with shows in Tokyo, where he performed at RAISE Ginza, followed by a strong European presence through his Ibiza run at Club Chinois, before taking his sound to New York’s Knockdown Center and later to Lagos, where he performed at the Livespot Entertainment Centre in Lekki.
Black Coffee, meanwhile, maintained his status as one of the world’s most in-demand DJs with his flagship Hï Ibiza residency, which ran from May to October, alongside high-profile appearances in Seville at the Icónica Santalucía Sevilla Fest, Miami, Dubai, Brazil, and the Dominican Republic − IOL.
