Disturbing videos have surfaced across social media platforms showing Miss Siyabonga Ndlovu being violently assaulted by three unidentified men in a secluded, bushy area near West Nicholson.
The footage, which has rapidly gone viral, shows the young woman being attacked while one of her assailants repeatedly demands information about her father’s whereabouts. In the video, Siyabonga can be heard pleading for mercy as the men press her for answers.
The brutality of the attack has sent shockwaves through the local community and beyond, with authorities now urging anyone with information to come forward.
A fellow villager, Mrs. Nokuthula Sibanda, shared her concerns after viewing the distressing footage.
“We are all very worried about Siyabonga after seeing that video. It was heartbreaking to watch. This is not the first time trouble has come to their family. Two years ago, her father, Majahakalingani Ndlovu, who owned a shop here, was attacked and then just disappeared. We have never had answers. Now they are coming after Siyabonga. We are living in fear,” she said.
The Ndlovu family has faced previous incidents of violence and intimidation. Majahakalingani Ndlovu, a well-known local businessman, was reportedly assaulted and subsequently vanished under mysterious circumstances two years ago.
His disappearance remains unsolved, adding to the community’s anxiety following the latest attack on his daughter.
The motives behind the assault, particularly the repeated mention of her father in the video, are under scrutiny.The latest incident has reignited calls for increased security in rural areas and greater support for families who have been victims of unresolved crimes.
