ALICK Macheso’s artistic ingenuity continues to inspire up-and-coming artistes especially in Bulawayo and among the groups is an all-female dance group, Shosholoza, which wants to share the stage with the  sungura kingpin. The five-member dance group made up of Melissa Phiri, Nobukhosi Mhlophe, Nomathemba Ncube, Helen Chaitve and Viviane Zinhle Ngwenya has shared the stage with Martin “The Big Boss” Sibanda and Ndolwane Super Sounds on a number of occasions.

They have become regular entertainers at city nightspots. Last week the female ensemble left fans at Eziko Theatre Laboratory in Mpopoma begging for more.

Their acts have seen them perform in places such as Esigodini, Victoria Falls, Harare, Gweru, Zvishavane and Kwekwe.
Ngwenya who is the leader of the group boasted that they were the best dance group in the city.

She said they danced museve music hence they want to share the stage with Macheso who they say is their role model.
