race on 36 points ahead of DStv Rangers, will receive the sponsorship just after the resumption of the second round of the season.
A circular from the Army public relations department said the team will tonight receive a boost ahead of their campaign to return to top flight football.
“Savanna Tobacco Company will unveil sponsorship package for Black rhinos Football Club at army headquarters.
“Black rhinos executive members and representatives of the sponsors will grace the occasion,” the circular states.
The former premiership side is on the verge of returning to the Premiership and is leading the 16-team Northern Region campaign.
The sponsorship will motivate the team that managed to win their first second round game against Jumbo Giants as they look forward to the next games.
The team edged their opponents 1-0 following a Lazarus Muhoni strike and the sponsorship will go along way in rejuvenating the former Premiership side.
