ALICK Macheso and Somandla Ndebele will usher revellers into the New Year with a joint show at Club 007 in Glendale on Saturday.
A Bindura Arts Festival Trust (BAF) initiative under the aegis of Saidi Saidi, the show is set to attract hordes of fans from the farming community.
Macheso and Soma will be performing at their favourite hunting ground.
After the Bindura affair, Macheso heads to Harare for another gig at Jongwe Corner on New Year’s Day from 6pm till late.
l IT’S EUREKA FOR WINKY D
Harare International Conference Centre is this Saturday night the place to be for Harareans when Winky D unveils his much-hyped album.
Titled Eureka Eureka, the album launch will double up as a 2023 crossover show.
He will be supported by Nutty O, Holy Ten, Tocky Vibes and Saint Floew, among others.

Gospel diva Janet Manyowa’s annual gospel fête, A Night of Thanks Giving (ANOT), will be held at Celebration Centre on Sunday.
Fellow artists Minister Mahendere, Takesure Zamar Ncube and Sharon Manyika will also perform.
The show starts at 3pm till late.

Jah Prayzah heads to Dam View in Chitungwiza for a potentially explosive bash on New Year’s Day.
He will share the stage with Jah Master and the Chillspot Records duo of DJ Fantan and Levels.
The show starts around lunchtime till late.

Outspoken Zimdancehall chanter Seh Calaz is set to release his forthcoming album titled Reggae Dzinorira.
The launch will be at the City Sports Centre in Harare on New Year’s eve.
An array of Zim dancehall chanters will also perform at the event.
l PITSHOU OFF TO MARONDERA
Rhumba outfit, Diamond Musica, combines forces with King Shaddy for a show at Chikomo Tavern in Marondera on New Year’s eve.
On New’s Day, the Pitshou Lumiere-led group performs at Pagazebo on the shores of Lake Chivero.
Diamond Musica is one of the most consistent rhumba outfits in Zimbabwe which did well in 2022.
