MUTARE Sports Club will get a feel of international club rugby competition after they were invited to partake in the Blessed Joseph Gerard Tournament in Lesotho as well as the Louis Trichardt Annual Rugby Day in South Africa.

The former competition to be held at Roma in the Lesotho capital of Maseru is set for the first week of April, while the latter tournament is scheduled for March 5.

MSC rugby manager, Casper ‘Belt’ Bandi said: “It is good for our club to get this kind of regional attention and competitions. It will come in handy in our efforts to take the game of rugby to a higher level in Mutare.

“We will be preparing for these tournaments and we hope we will lure more corporate partners for us to be able not only to fulfil the fixtures, but do so in style.”
