Shurugwi man killed during beer binge

A Shurugwi man was attacked with a plastic chair and stabbed on the stomach by two men he was drinking with, leading to his death.
The murder happened in Shurugwi on July 7, 2024 in a bottle store at Zviumwa Business Centre.

Future Ngwenya died on the spot. He was 35.

The suspects, Trymore Mahuro (30) and Albert Gido (38) are said to be on the run and the police in Shurugwi are investigating the case.

“Police in Shurugwi are investigating a case of murder which occurred on July 7, 2024 at Zviumwa Business Centre,” reads part of the statement from the Zimbabwe Republic Police
