A HARARE woman heaved a sigh of relief yesterday after successfully applying for a protection order against her brother.

Esinate Foshitingu claimed her brother, Tarisai Foshitingu, had been accusing her of witchcraft and also assaulted her.

“He is alleging that l am a witch together with our father. He also poured hot water on me,” she said.

In his defence, Tarisai said it was her child who called her a witcH.

“I was brushing my teeth and she insulted me, so I poured the water I was using on her.

“She is the one who sent people to assault me resulting in me losing my teeth,” he said.

They started arguing in court until Esinate cried.

Presiding magistrate Tamara Chibindi granted the protection to Esinate.
