ZIMDANCEHALL chanter Silent Killer has angered his Ngezi fans after he failed to perform on Saturday despite being present at the show venue in Kadoma.
Ngwere, as he is popularly known, was the main act.
He arrived at the venue but, somehow, didn’t make it to the stage.
The show promoters, Vista Entertainment, said despite paying everything for him they were disappointed by his actions and they were contemplating filing a police report.
“The most disheartening thing is he came and we paid for his bills at a local hotel and later his manager disappeared with him.
“Unlike Ndunge Yut, who communicated on time and we understood it was not possible for him to come, Ngwere was here but for no reason whatsoever he decided not to perform.
“Right now, his manager is not reachable and we want to make a police report, he was our headline artist.
“Many people came because of him and it is not fair.
“The good thing is that the show continued as planned and other artists like Tally B, Shonaboi, Leo Magooz, and all local youngsters and deejays, made the event memorable,” said the promoters.
Silent Killer and his camp were not available for comment.
Ironically, ahead of the show, Silent Killer had been hyping it.
A local fan said:
“Akatouya tikatomuona akaramba kuridza achiti vanhu vashoma apa tabhadhara mari dzedu kupinda tichida kutoona iye zvinorwadza,” said Talent.
“Uyu akatouya panzvimbo and akabuda achiti ari kudzoka, ndiye nyaa, people were disappointed
“Shena yaanga anayo mahwani, munhu wacho takatoshaya kuti aburuka mumota kana kuti auya netsoka.”
